New specialties: Oncology and Hematology

Il BIELO+HUB Medical Center and Laboratory Services is pleased to introduce two new important specializations among the numerous areas of expertise:

The oncology Medical oncology deals with the diagnosis of tumors and non-surgical anti-tumor therapies: the oncologist takes care of the patient, after the diagnosis of cancer, through therapies based on the use of chemotherapy or other drugs.

Starting from June, the following services will be included in our outpatient clinic:

• Oncology visit;
• Check-up visit.

The hematology, on the other hand, deals with the diagnosis of blood diseases, from neoplasms to non-neoplastic hematological diseases: the hematologist analyzes the size, structure and functioning of the elements of the blood and lymph and of the organs that produce them.

Starting from June, the following services will be included in our outpatient clinic:

• Hematological examination;
• Check-up visit.

Dr. Salvagno has developed his expertise primarily in the field of lymphomas and solid tumors, focusing on multidisciplinary treatment decisions and the management of side effects.
