Occupational medicine
Il BIELO+HUB Medical Center is able to offer companies the services of job security in full compliance with the obligations set out in Legislative Decree 81/08 using specialist doctors in occupational medicine, offering their customers the necessary services. Health surveillance must be present in all workplaces where health risk factors exist.
The expert staff of the Bielo+Hub Medical Center takes care of the organization of visits of all kinds and of their management of periodic deadlines and exams annexes provided for by the protocol.
He dedicates himself to estate and at updating of health records and risk pursuant to Legislative Decree 81/08 and the scheduling of the annual meeting between the employer, RSPP, RSL and the competent doctor.
Who is the competent doctor? Who appoints him?
The company physician is appointed and works with the employer to plan a preventive and health protection system for its employees after a careful assessment of the related risks in the work environment. At the end of each type of visit, the physician issues a formal opinion on the compatibility of the job with the employee's health conditions.
Site inspection
The company physician conducts an on-site inspection of the company's workplace at least once a year and summarizes his findings with a brief description of the departments, producing a report and establishing a specific health protocol.
What types of mandatory visits are required for companies?
Preventive and/or pre-employment visit
The purpose of the preventive health check is to determine whether the worker is suitable for exposure to the risks inherent in their job and workplace. The check must be conducted before the worker begins work. The purpose of the pre-employment health check is to determine whether the worker is suitable even before the hiring process has been completed.
Subsequent periodic visits
The visits are intended to monitor that exposure to risks has not caused any damage.
It is periodically assessed to ensure that the employee's activity has not caused any disturbances of any kind.
Extraordinary visit requested by the worker himself
The visit takes place at the worker's request when he or she believes he or she is experiencing work-related health problems.
Visit upon termination of employment
The visit is carried out in the event of personnel being exposed to particular risks.
Visit upon returning to work after a period of sick leave of at least 60 days
The employee is issued a suitability assessment for reinstatement to perform his or her specific duties.
