Allergology

Allergology is a branch of medicine that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of allergies. An allergy is a reaction of the immune system that perceives a normally harmless substance as harmful. To identify the causes of the allergic reaction and to define the appropriate treatment plan for the patient, we use an allergy examination, allergy testing, and possibly inhalant and food allergy test panels, which are performed with a simple blood test.
